Kiragawa Information Center

吉良川のまちなみは、1997年に国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定されています。国道55号線から一本山側に旧道には、土佐の伝統的な建築技法を施した家屋が立ち並ぶストリートがあります。土佐漆喰の白亜の壁とその壁に施されている水切り瓦が特徴です。歩くだけでリフレッシュできてしまう、吉良川にしかない独特な雰囲気を楽しめます。町の中心ににある「御田八幡宮」は、国の無形文化遺産に指定されているお祭りや儀式の舞台でもあります。

Kiragawa Townscape was selected as Preservation Districts for Groups of Important Historic Buildings in 1997. Traditional architectures are in the Townscape street. Brigtly white Tosa plaster walls and roof drainage tiles are famous architectural features in this area. You will get relaxed just walking on the street with unique atmosphere only in Kiragawa. Onda Hachimangu Shrine is located in the center of the town which is known as a stage for rituals and tradtional events desginated as national intangible cultural property.
